Lessons for the whole horse
Lessons at Worthwhile Equestrian look a little different than some other programs. I put a strong emphasis on groundwork and skill building on the ground. Emotional regulation for the horses is at the center of my program, regardless of discipline. I want horses to be healthy in their mind and body before having to navigate complicated questions under saddle.
While I am certified in both English and Western riding, Eventing is definitely my personal love!

Building confidence
A large part of my program is building confidence in both horse and rider. Confident partners are unstoppable. A confident horse who has good emotional regulation will approach new situations with a calmer manner than a nervous horse who cannot regulate themselves. While I work with riders and owners from all walks of life, and horses of all breeds and training, confidence is the end goal. I strive to be a coach who instills enough confidence in my students that they are comfortable attempting tasks without me. Whether that means going for a solo trail ride or entering a competition. While I enjoy assisting clients at competitions, I want them to feel that they have achieved enough skills to be competent without me by their side!
