Helping horses and equestrians connect

Every Reiki practitioner has a slightly different gift so any time you go to someone or have a remote session done, there will be variations.
I'm also a Medium and have Shaman training. So this means I sometimes see passed loved ones (human or animal, this lifetime or generations ago), and I also see past lives when they are ready to be healed. I like to let everyone know as sometimes that's 'too much' for people. I get all of those messages/images either way, but don't have to share them if the person isn't interested.

The reiki side, at its simplest explanation, is energy healing. So I scan your energy (in person or remotely) and will often find sore spots, past injuries, and areas of the body that are 'blocked'. Often emotions come to the surface both in the session and for the person afterwards. All about releasing and recognizing what we are holding on to. I don't get to choose what heals, your energy directs me in what needs attention. I often find energy guides that are working with you as well, human, non-human, animal, mythical, etc. Every one is different.

I like to reassure people that I don't pry. There are strict boundaries in place in my energy work, which I can go into in greater detail if needed, but I consider this work very sacred and hold myself to a high standard of privacy. Your body and energy will tell me what needs work and what needs releasing, I don't ever pry into personal lives or past experiences.

During a remote session, I take notes while in your energy and share them afterwards along with any supporting information or links. After the client has read through the notes and digested the information, there is the opportunity to ask questions or go into deeper detail about anything that was shared. 

Every person experiences Reiki differently, but it is important to treat an energy work session as a form of detox, removing stagnant energy and blocks can have similar side effects to a cleanse or detox. Some people may experience physical symptoms worsening like aches and pains, headache, digestive upset or exhaustion. These symptoms are perfectly normal and pass generally within 24 hours.  I recommend that clients increase their water intake and rest after a session to help these symptoms pass.
